Read what Shorewalk Guests Have To Say About Their Stay With Us (The following are unsolicited comments submitted to "tripadvisor") "Great Stay with the Family" doctorjr - Southeast Missouri - July 4, 2008 "We recently had a family vacation in Bradenton to celebrate a high school graduation. We choose Shorewalk Villas based upon the reviews here, and we were not disappointed. It was perfect for what we needed. Five of us stayed in the villa, and we had ample room with the two bedrooms and the pull out sofa in the living room. It was great having the two bathrooms also. The kitchen was stocked with essential tools, and a large grocery store is right next door, so we only ate out for dinner each night. We loved sitting on the screened in porch each morning with coffee and watching the lizards run up and down the tree or the ducks in the stream that ran by. We had a ground level unit, and would recommend asking for that when making reservations. Our villa was conveniently located next to the clubhouse and pool/hot tub, so that was nice. It was advertised that wireless connection was only available at the clubhouse, but I guess our villa was close enough, because we got it there also. There is no maid service, but the unit has a washer/dryer, so we took care of our towels ourselves. There were several other amenities in the complex that we didn’t use, but appeared nice – tennis courts, playground, clubhouse, etc. The beach is about a 10 min. Drive, and the villa had a beach umbrella and mats in the closed to use. The villas complex is located right off a main road, and it seemed easy access to eveywhere we needed to go. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and we were so glad we chose it over the standard hotel room. We are already making plans to have a family reunion next summer and will stay at Shorewalk again." The apartment was spacious and perfect for 2 couples as the bedrooms and living space were ample. It was clean and well equipped, and overall a great value. I had some concern when we booked due to its 2* rating but we were really pleased when we arrived. We had a ground floor apartment and would definitely ask for first floor next." "Love It!" We arrived in the area about three and drove around for a bit to see the area the beach was very nice and not crowded like in siesta key. The amount of restaurants and shopping so close was wonderful. Our check in was informative and quick. Our room was great I could not imagine staying at a Holiday inn for the same price. If we needed anything, we just dialed 800 they would make recommendations and even get you a map and directions. Truly so very helpful. Our check out was even nice they wished us safe traveling and welcomed us back. We will return next year!" This place is so centrally located to everything, shopping and beaches. The people who check us in was so helpful and gracious. The 2 bedroom condo was so clean and spacious. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Can’t say anything negative about the place and well return." The staff are all friendly and polite and will do anything to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, the whole atmosphere is very relaxing, there are beautiful pools, jaccuzis, facilities for open air cooking, tennis courts, lakes with fish and the condos are spacious, cool and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We cannot even think of going anywhere else and will always return to Shorewalk for our vacations."
